● On the MLOps team, I brought down the time of launching a market from 3 weeks to 1.5 weeks through automation. This helped us get from 3 new markets per quarter to 7 new markets per quarter (we want to be available in every US city). My changes included:

○ Built Airflow DAGs that created PRs so developers no longer struggled with installing machine learning libraries

○ Optimized dependency version bumping time from 30 minutes -> 5 minutes

○ Configuration deployment no longer causes existing dag runs to miss their SLAs

● Tech lead for company’s data infra storage abstraction layer migration from HDFS path layer to tables (21k engineering hours worth of work spanning over three quarters)

● Led two engineers to deliver various customer asks

● Planned & executed on migration to Hadoop 2.10 for our team’s products

● Drove and launched a commit queue, a CI module, that improves deployment speed

● Built micro services support (like internal DNS) and planned the move to containers

● Led the 64bit python migration to increase developer velocity

● Increased reliability of our browser based test infra to lower spuriousness

● Evaluated, triaged and rewarded bug reports for the security bug bounty program

● Automated certificate generation, renewal and deployment for all https needs
