Provided guidance and best practices to support the customer and user experience of events ranging from small targeted events to large-scale events including conference websites, virtual events, year-round learning website, mobile apps, surveys, research, and some aspects of the in-person event experience. Managed a small UX team, and acted as UX liaison when collaborating with Design Agencies.
• Improved Usability across the conference lifecycle, from registration and enrollment to in-person navigation, resulting in increased engagement and reduced attendee support cases.
• Developed website best practices and templates for targeted events aimed at specific audiences, e.g. industry, topic, role, resulting in reduced cost of agency resources.
• Led end-to-end research initiatives for Autodesk University including planning, execution, and qualitative analysis through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and observational studies to generate actionable insights that directly informed decision-making and drove measurable improvements across the event.
• Standardized survey questions, including CSAT and NPS across all events to ensure consistency, actionable insights, and year-over-year comparison.
• Co-ran and facilitated monthly meetings with an advisory council made up of 12-16 diverse external customers to identify pain points and ideate on specific topics alongside events team.

Worked in collaboration with peer UX and Visual designers, Program Managers, Product Managers, Marketing Managers, and Content Creators, on the events team, other internal teams and with design agencies. Began as a Sr. UX Designer and was promoted to Principal after 1 year.
• Designed and launched high-impact features on the AU learning platform that boosted return visits and session discovery: deep search, comments, profiles, notifications, personalization, and content recommendations.
• Led UX design to ensure a seamless experience across multiple technology integrations: website CMS, event management platform, single sign-on (SSO), mobile app, Autodesk chatbot, and live streaming.
• Designed pages and components for website marketing content, including website templates for smaller events.
• Conducted & analyzed user behavior using usability testing, 1:1 interviews, focus groups, fly-on-the-wall observation, and web analytics.
• Introduced and scaled UX design processes across a global team, mentoring non-UX team members on personas, design thinking, and survey development.
