Strong engineering professional with a Master of Science in Mechatronics and Robotics from New York University. I am passionate about Automation, Self-Driving Vehicles, Path planning, Swarm Intelligence, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning. I am currently working as a Data Scientist/Solutions Architect - Robotics at Nvidia.

I have 3+ years of experience as an API Developer at NYU and TIBCO Softwares wherein I used microservices and SOA to develop REST APIs. I worked on event-based processing and business integration platform. During my tenure as an API Developer, I learned the importance of modular programming and consumable APIs. I use this knowledge of designing an API to many of my robotics projects.

During my internship at Columbus AI, I worked on ADAS for an Autonomous Driving Car. I created a module to read and write data to the CAN bus of the car and integrated it with RADAR for an automatic emergency braking system.

During my Masters, I worked on various projects:
  - Deep Depth Completion: Trained a deep neural network to densify a sparse 3D scan from a LiDAR with the corresponding RGB image.
  - PRM Path Planning: Used Probabilistic Roadmap(PRM) algorithm to generate a path from source to destination in a known environment.
  - Formation Control of a Swarm of Robots: Implemented formation control algorithms to simulate swarming of a group of robots.
  - Smart Mobile Case(FLY-m): Designed a mobile phone case prototype which prevents the phone from damaging, if dropped suddenly. 

I am experienced in Python, MATLAB, C/C++ 11/14, Path Planning, Robot Kinematics, Deep learning and have worked extensively with hardware platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi. Additionally, I am improving my skills in Sensor Fusion, Kalman Filter, Particle Filter for SLAM(Simultaneous Localization and Mapping).
