Responsibilities:
• Implement and develop new designs procedure, policies and standards for the engineering and technical work performed in the PCB department.
• Assign the PCB designing jobs to the team members according to their skills and keep discussing the work related issues and help them resolved as quickly as possible.
• Hiring new PCB Designers and oversee development and maintenance of staff competence in required areas.
• Discuss with the clients the technical aspects of the engineering design and suggest if there is any room of improvement in the design for better output.
• Participate directly in all phases of PCB design from acquiring the initial data input from design engineers to the final artwork and release of engineering documentation to production. Providing support to engineering change management activities in both PCB and mechanical design activities.
• Generate schematic diagrams and capture all data for PCB design. Generate PCB layout, make optimal component placement for functionality and easy assembly. Generate final PCB artwork; solder masks, assembly drawings, silk screens and NC drill templates.
