◦ Designed and developed centralized Sale service to power all the sale events and can scale up to 100k queries per second during high user traffic. Being exposed to high traffic user path flow, implemented in-memory cache using Guava cache to reduce the read calls on the database.

◦ Designed Checkout/Purchase flow for social commerce. Developed low-latency, high volume APIs with consideration of concurrency, bottleneck, and security.
◦ Designed and developed post order flows for social commerce that interacted with multiple microservices using Kafka for asynchronous communication.
◦ Optimized Elasticsearch queries for multiple indexes used by the centralized search team to reduce the search time.
◦ Designed and developed ‘credit shell’ during pandemic to help users use their airline credit for the next flight bookings. Was primarily involved in integrating credit shell modules used by different airlines and writing a service layer that uses business logic and flow to utilize credit shell amount through our platform.
◦ Designed and developed booking flows for multi-airline itineraries using asynchronous jobs to solve common application scaling and performance challenges.
