2025 — Now
San Francisco Bay Area
Designer on the AI team.
Founding designer on prompt to edit. My contribution boils down to 3 areas.
Product vision
Pitched and secured funding for the project. Built early prototypes to define the feature’s potential and collaborated with PMs to architect the underlying system. Created a flexible roadmap outlining how to build toward the future vision, and partnered closely with PMs and EMs to scope, sprint, and lead the team.
Quality
Defined the evaluation set and testing plan, working with researchers to improve model quality. Investigated AI-generated code to identify key areas for engineering improvement. Collaborated with research scientists to refine prompts, prototype in code, and translate design principles into model behavior—helping the model develop “taste.” Contributed front-end polish and experience refinements through submitted PRs.
Design
Established the foundational framework, visual language, and interaction paradigms to support designers’ workflows. Brought designs to critique, built coded prototypes, and jammed with other designers to explore alternative solutions and refine the product experience.
2024 — 2025
San Francisco Bay Area
Led design for Figma Make's Supabase integration that enables users to add a backend to their apps.
Led design and informed technical development of Figma Make’s style context feature by prompt engineering and rapidly working with engineers to build prototypes
Led design and fixed bugs for Figma Make's point and edit tool, including coding prototypes and submitting PRs in Github for polish.
Built and maintained the eval system across different AI features. Partnered with engineers to improve AI quality through experiments, prompt engineering and rapid code tweaks.
Redesigned the underlying design system of the post-config relaunch of First Draft, while also supporting the UI redesign of First Draft's flow. Leveraged dev skills to save engineering bandwidth. Collaborated with product, research and engineering to plan and lead an org-wide, AI focused, hackathon.
2023 — 2024
San Francisco Bay Area
Led building a new feature with limited PM support for enterprise focused collaboration while leveraging engineering skills to collaborate with engineers and ship faster. Led the design and shipped the Notifications redesign, which consists of an audit that continues to be foundational documentation for XFN. Collaborated with PMs on team direction, roadmaps and delivered supporting vision deck. Designed Figma’s PWA support for ChromeOS which was presented during Chrome’s keynote speech during Google I/O.
2016 — 2023
Led the design and development of interfaces, 0-1 design systems, landing pages, pitch decks and promotional material for various companies such as Brightdrop, Rally.video, Webapp.io, Datafold and Saltwater, with a high focus on craft, story telling, product strategy and close design/PM/development partnership.
2022 — 2022
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Internship as part of the co-op portion of my masters degree.
Designed interactions and workflows for a Fortune 100, large-screen entertainment company
Planned a user research project for a Fortune 100 streaming company
Designed, planned, and built a framework for how to design for inclusion, including a pre-planned workshop, reading materials, design checklists, and an accompanying presentation deck.
