# Tayun Park > Software Engineer | Full-Stack Developer | MERN Stack Location: New York, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/tayun I strongly believe that if something needs to be done, you should take the initiative to make it happen. When I struggled to keep in touch with a long-distance friend, I didn’t only talk about starting a podcast together — I did the research, came with a proposal, and made it a reality. I’m an adaptable and detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience excelling in managing client interactions, streamlining processes, and resolving complex issues. Working in medicine allowed me to witness firsthand the importance of technology for those working in healthcare and also for those receiving care. I have experienced the impact that access to electronic health records, telemedicine, and translation services have made to people’s lives. As a creator, I have also seen how tech has allowed creators to optimize their own work without needing the technical expertise to build their own processes. Venturing into the tech industry, I am driven by a desire to support accessibility in technology, whether it is access to it, or improving their access to those not in tech. If you're in any sector of tech whether it be games, data analytics or more, I would love to connect with you and learn more about your journey and role! ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Resilient Coders Jan 2024 – Present •Developed ClipByte, a full-stack application leveraging AWS for user video storage and integrating OpenAI and Meta’s LLaMA to analyze long-form video, aimed at helping small creators grow their audience and community •Led DevOps processes for a team project using GitHub Projects Kanban and Scrum methodologies, managing workflow, presenting best practices, and guiding 15+ team members through each step of the code commit process, resulting in a 70% reduction in integration errors and faster deployment cycles •Engineered robust full stack web applications leveraging technologies such as MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3; enhanced user interaction leading to a 40% increase in visitor inquiries •Designed and implemented APIs using front-end and back-end programming languages, and conducted thorough UI testing to identify and rectify potential software bugs and issues •Investigated and responded to coding errors and providing solutions to consistently uphold website quality standards •Proficiently designed and managed databases, with a focus on MongoDB, to facilitate seamless data interactions ### Digital Community Organizer @ Unknown Jan 2022 – Jan 2024 • Developed a mini-game for Twitch that enables viewer participation, leveraging Twitch API to facilitate dynamic interactions and fostering a fun, collaborative environment • Independently built a livestream with high viewer interaction and a growing community of 480+ • Co-hosted and built a podcast audience with 2000+ all-time listens and 100+ followers ### Residential Counselor @ Cambridge Eating Disorder Center Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 • Worked in conjunction with peers and supervisors to provide immediate support and skills regarding emotional dysregulation or psychological reframing • Led support groups of 8 to 11 residents to establish individual goals and introduce new coping skills • Take, accurately interpret, and document vitals to facilitate team communication regarding resident's rehabilitation objectives ### Undergraduate Research Assistant @ Boston University School of Medicine Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 • Developed an automated in situ image analysis pipeline in CellProfiler to streamline data output. • Gained hands-on experience in precision techniques, including perfusion and surgical procedures, fostering attention to detail and problem-solving skills applicable to coding and debugging • Developed proficiency in using cryostats and imaging software, enhancing skills in data visualization and analysis • Assists in the implementation of social behavior experimental tasks specifically self-administration of alcohol using bottles as well as operant box conditioning • Participant in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program to extensively conduct research on NAcc core PAC1R knockdown in mice and alcohol intake. ## Education ### Bachelor of Arts - BA in Psychology Boston University Jan 2017 – Jan 2021 ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/tayun-park - Website: https://tayunpark.netlify.app/ - Website: https://x.com/paragraph_dev --- Source: https://flows.cv/tayun JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/tayun/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-01
