• Aided in implementing a frontend redesign using React, Tailwind, and Ruby on Rails from Figma mockups for Navigate Wellbeing, a large scale corporate wellness app. Aided in architecture refactors, regular pairing and unblocking other developers, and implemented in a way that allowed incremental rollout of the redesign.

• Audited end-to-end tests to remove redundant tests, and migrate UI tests from Capybara to Jest using React Testing Library.

• Maintain iOS app written in Swift, handling miscellaneous bug fixes and UI tweaks. Upgraded to Swift 6 and iOS 18, which involved finding code that would cause runtime errors and introducing more graceful error handling. Introduced xcconfig to follow best practices for handling environmental differences, and making it easier for non-iOS developers to run the app.

• Feature developer for Velocity, an app for displaying engineering and project metrics.

• Helped scale up the platform to more efficiently handle large amounts of data, by optimizing queries and rethinking the UX to handle data differently, and collecting metrics to measure success.

• Primary developer on work to improve SSO login UX and add session expiration times.

• Wrote and championed several RFCs, such as: tightening ESLint rules to improve the frontend code without being disruptive to existing code; standardizing frontend testing patterns; adding Searchkick (ElasticSearch).

• Helped architect and was the primary developer for a Remix app for the interface for a full rewrite of Velocity.

• Full stack software engineer for a consulting company, predominantly programming with Ruby on Rails, and React (and React Native).
