I implemented a Python program to access Alexa Skills Store, extract skills’ details, and build a dataset of 6000+ skill names and ~20,000 sample utterances. Used a Skill Simulation API to query Alexa with audio recordings of sample phrases using homonyms. Wrote multiple parameterized JMeter scripts that are now being used to automate the application deployment workflow. Also developed scripts to check for authorized groups and blackout windows before pipelines are executed. Wrote a web-scraping algorithm using Python and Beautiful Soup to extract listings from paginated results of matching apartments listed on Apartments.com. Conceived and implemented a user agent randomizer to avoid the web requests from being timed out. ### Software Engineering Intern @ BlazeMeter (CA Technologies) Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Santa Clara, California BlazeMeter provides a web-based continuous testing service. Utilizing tools such as cURL, Postman, Chrome Dev Tools, and JMeter, I conducted tests to find new use cases that modeled user behavior, and developed my findings into six new sections of the API documentation. Achieved a 90% personal productivity boost by building a chain of sequential tests with Postman. ### Electro LoopPads @ California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science (COSMOS) at UC San Diego Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 Worked in a team of three to design and build an electronic drum machine that won the award for best capstone project.
