Overview:
As the TRAILS Multimedia Design Manager, I create engaging visual content across student-facing materials, educational resources, websites, social media, presentations, and advertising campaigns. This role combines artistic creativity with technical expertise to enhance TRAILS' storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Production:
Create videos, animations, motion graphics, and interactive presentations.
Develop graphic elements and visual assets for multimedia, print, web, and social media.
Edit videos, adding effects, transitions, and audio.
Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.
Design and layout materials with TRAILS team members.
Produce reports and communication materials for diverse audiences.
Troubleshoot and optimize multimedia content.
Project Management:
Collaborate with clients and creative teams to understand objectives.
Develop storyboards and visual outlines.
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Stay updated with multimedia technologies and tools.
Collaboration:
Work with content producers, illustrators, and animators.
Partner with the UX Product Design team.
Share drafts with stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
Engage with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
Brand Development:
Uphold brand standards across all projects.
Suggest branding innovations.

Create visual materials and graphics for print and digital media utilized in TRAILS programming, marketing and communications, ensuring that material layout and design complement accompanying language, are aligned with brand standards, accessible, and follow best practices.
Collateral design:
* Develop and maintain materials for print, video, web, & social media in collaboration with TRAILS clinicians, implementation specialists, content specialists and other designers.
* Create impactful materials that align with the overall strategic priorities of TRAILS, its internal rubric for diversity, equity and inclusion, and all design accessibility guidelines
* Slide decks for trainings and presentations in collaboration with TRAILS clinicians, implementation specialists and content specialists
* Distill information and requirements into user-friendly designs and videos in
collaboration with other TRAILS teams (Clinical, Implementation, Tech Innovations)

Brand development:
* Adhere to brand guidelines in all design functions and recommend guideline innovations to management as appropriate
* Further develop brand assets and collateral for use by TRAILS teams
* Identify and explore new methods and strategies to illustrate team/stakeholder vision while complying with design best practices
* Create and communicate innovative solutions and ideas that improve material delivery to partners with the goal of streamlining program implementation
Project coordination
* Collaborate across TRAILS teams (Clinical, Implementation, Tech Innovations, Communications) to ensure integrated project planning and delivery of TRAILS programming
* Share collateral drafts with appropriate teams/stakeholders, including the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion workgroup, & amend based on feedback
