Jan 2021 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area I joined TVHC to help develop and deploy a federally-funded (HRSA) program to deliver remote care to patients with high blood pressure. The program integrates video conferencing, remote monitoring, peer support, and a new funding model to better meet patient and provider needs while minimizing the spread of infectious disease. FieldKit is a platform for low-cost, easy to use environmental monitoring to support the work of researchers, journalists, conservationists, and citizen scientists. ### User Experience Designer & Researcher @ Oakland Unified School District Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | Oakland, California, United States Worked with OUSD administrators, teachers, and parents to build a portal for early childhood educational resources on the OUSD website. ### Design Director, Founding Partner @ Next Thing Co. Jan 2014 – Jan 2018 | Oakland, CA Design lead for products, graphics, and communications. Managed design team and coordination with other departments. Oversaw manufacturing and quality assurance with production vendors, stateside and overseas. I wore many hats as I helped grow the team from 3 working out of an apartment to 30 spread across the globe. ### Product Designer @ Project Frog Jan 2009 – Jan 2012 I worked within a small team of product designers, architects, and engineers, to design, prototype and manufacture high-performance buildings as kits of prefabricated components.
