FAST is a software company creating solutions for government agencies. Since being hired as part of the 2022 graduate intake, I have been working as part of the Support Team responsible for the state of Oregon’s tax system:

Worked on a major version upgrade as well as four service packs:

Creating test plans, training clients, and resolving issues

Assisted client IT staff to identify, resolve, and fix bugs and issues

Led a team of three members to deliver a knowledge transfer project focused on the billing process

Creation of Visual Basic business objects as part of the nightly batch processing

Extensive use of SQL as a tool to locate data issues as well as optimize the runtime of queries

Worked as a junior backend developer. Learned C# ASP.NET and SQL on site. Created a human resources tool that utilized JWT based authentication, AWS’ simple email service, and relational databases

Wit is a video contest platform. Worked as an intern over the summer. Wrote a number of tools to analyze usage of the platform, including a Python program to scrape information and emails from Linkedin targets.

Healthy Bytes is a software platform for dietitians. I worked in the eligibility checking team, as the final part of my gap year, prior to college. I facilitated communication with insurance companies to check eligibility of claims. I also updated claim status, initiated the resolution process, and created internal reports.
