During my tenure at Kapwing, I focused on enhancing core back-end systems for a leading online video editing platform. My initial project involved implementing video stabilization as a full stack feature, including optimizing processing time and resource use, as well as gathering and monitoring feature metrics. I significantly contributed to refactoring and expanding our translation services, improving accessibility for a global audience, and reducing transcription and translation error rates. 

My role involved iterating features rapidly based on team feedback, using technologies like React, TypeScript, Python, Flask, and MongoDB. I consistently worked towards making video editing more intuitive and accessible, in line with Kapwing's mission of empowering digital storytelling.
