Hired as the sole intern in the software team for 1010Data’s product DSCVR, a solution that equips clients with big data capabilities through an intuitive platform, reducing technical barriers to entry for businesses

Managed a product enhancement to DSCVR from inception to implementation, introducing an event-bus-centric architecture for a new publish-subscribe system in the server (Play) and client (Vue) using WebSockets

Won 2nd place in the annual company-wide hackathon, with an entry that enhances the DSCVR user experience by streamlining the workflow of creating data buckets in the platform
Created 3D ultrasound image visualizations in OpenGL, to use as proof-of-concept for 3D ultrasound image-reconstruction algorithms

Preprocessed raw ultrasound data sent by a micro controller using Numpy and SciPy to separate and detect Tx/Rx peaks, and generated preliminary 2D images with the denoised data
Developed iBegoo, a platform that allows artists to create interactive media leveraging virtual reality in Unity, through an intuitive and guided user interface

Worked in all aspects of new-product development: outlined the NoSQL database schema for Unity assets in Firebase, designed the client-side architecture, planned the user experience, and executed all front-end features in Vue.js
