Managing a team of Data Scientists

Standing up new R&D projects from ground up, working with stakeholders across multiple AT&T child companies on Audience Modeling & Optimization, for both Performance and Branding buying in digital/TV marketplaces

Technical lead of a team of Data Scientists.

Led team efforts and collaborated with Product, Engineering and Analytics teams to build and upgrade platform wide real-time bidding(RTB) valuation algorithms.

Main responsibilities include:

• designing and developing Machine Learning algorithms based on existing techniques and modifying them to fit platform specific needs

• building and maintaining a Data Science owned A/B testing pipeline for fast experiment iterations

• guiding and mentoring other team members, coordinating and managing their day to day work

Algorithmic design of products, including platform-wide optimization algorithms and real-time programatic trading strategies. Daily work involves:

• ETLs of log level data with Apache Spark/Hive on Hadoop clusters;

• building models and testing hypothesis with statistical and machine learning techniques on large scale data in Spark/Python;

• prototyping customized functions that are currently unavailable in open source softwares;

• building dashboards to visualize and track live test results and communicating with other Engineering/Product teams.
