As Mark Twain once said, “Success is a journey, not a destination. It requires constant effort, vigilance and reevaluation." As engineers, I believe that we must always strive to succeed further that we can imagine.
Competitive university team that designs hyperloop technologies application to compete at SpaceX
•
Lead designer of battery enclosure that would securely brace the batteries in the hyperloop
•
Generated designs of enclosures, GD&T drawings, stress simulations in Ansys, material selection, and complete prototype of enclosure using carbon fiber
Complete redesign of pedal box to provide adjustability for drivers of varied height.
•
The new design utilizes a rail system for which the pedal box can slide, thus, can be adjustable to the driver’s comfort.
•
Combat issues with welding warpage, ergonomic challenges, material selection, system stress analysis, mounting, and improved safety factor for pedal box to withstand 450 pounds of force
•
Every aspect of pedal box is assembled in Solidworks for precise measurements which includes both brake and accelerator pedals, master cylinders, springs, push rods, balance bars, etc.
Competitive university racing team that composes of multidisciplinary engineer
•
Each year a brand-new electric car is created through design, machining, manufacturing, and testing
•
Manufactured battery cell enclosures which became a part of the tractive system. Each enclosure contains battery modules made up of 72 Sony batteries (9 series, 8 parallel)
•
Constructed an enclosure to house high voltage electronics and several PCB
•
Learned to Use Hardware tools: Metal Benders, Grinder Wheels, Lathe, Milling Machine, Drill Press, Common Power Tools, etc.
