Hello 👋 quick snapshot of me atm - Software engineer looking for work across any industry. I do react, node, typescript and many other JS languages but not python or .NET even tho I do have some past experience in those 

Over the past 15 years, I’ve built awesome full-stack solutions for clients including BCG Digital Ventures, the Navy, AI Responsibility Labs, and many more.

My passion for programming motivates me to constantly strive to improve, collaborate, and develop while learning powerful new tools, tricks, and resources to be better at my profession and passion. I have taken my skills and professional network, which includes USC engineers, then Dean of Harvard’s CS department, executive film producers, and musicians to work on multiple start-ups. I co-founded: Volkno and Amafly.

Selected Accomplishments:

1. Built a templating framework and system to digitalize the Control of Work (also known as
Permit to Work) Maritime systems. This successfully digitalized the forms for these
systems for two major maritime clients on over 10 shipping and gas tankers as of 2021).

2. Collaborated and built a tanker location tracking system to provide state-of-art safety and
life alert systems within the maritime industry while being one of the first three engineers at
Sol-X in Singapore).

3. Implemented an entire solution for a complex patent, “A System and Method for
evaluating an optimizing media content” while working with an executive movie
producer and the Dean of Harvard’s Computer Science department. The project
involved multiple platforms and apps for users, content creators, and movie studio
clients. Built Machine learning models for behavior reinforcement, anti-manipulation, and
sentiment analysis from the patent while working with David Parkes, the Dean at
Harvard.

4. Contributed to migrating GoodRx front-end stack to micro-fronted applications from the
previous monorepo. Solved and delivered a solution enabling over 3000 customers per
month to subscribe to subscriptions with both email and phone numbers. Provided a
system for utilizing AB testing with optmizely C@E to reduce network requests by over
10% on initial page load.

5. Leveraged the Crowdtilt API (crowdfunding resource), BalancedPayments (transfer/bank
protocol), Stripe, Booking.com and Travelocity affiliate programs to build a shared group
itinerary that allowed for inviting, planning, and booking all from the groups itinerary
based on the collective votes for each itinerary item.

●	Contributed to developing the UI components (20+) and foundation for the company’s design system 3.0 along with 2 other team members. 
●	Integrated Intercom messenger and support using GTM and Intercom for the production brands portal.
●	Built the brand order-form used to launch campaigns and configure select targeting and rule dynamics for the campaigns.

### Senior Fullstack Software Engineer @ SOL-X

Sol-X is a rapidly growing start-up in the maritime industry focusing on behavioral based safety and wearable technology. By leveraging wearables and location tracking, Sol-X is digitizing and improving the control of work onboard oil and shipping tankers by creating a proprietary permit to work system.
●	Worked as a founding member and engineer to expand the team from 4 engineers to 18 after transitioning from BCGDV to an LLC.
●	Lead Developer of the form template and configuration system used to drive the SAFEVUE.ai permit to work system for Control of Work.
●	Lead the development of entry displays, entry and exit tracking, and gas reader alerts onboard oil tankers for the Pump Room, Compressor Room, and Enclosed Space Entry. Managed a team of 6 (1 design, 1 PM, 4 engineers).
●	Refactored the entire client application from React-Native application into a PWA using React. Focused on TDD and took the client application from 0 to > 90% unit test coverage along with integration tests using JEST and Mocha.
●	Worked with a team to build an online client portal for PowerBI reporting and ship to shore office approval.
●	Experience in constructing the business process mapping, functional requirements, technical requirements, and engineering playbooks for onboarding clients to Azure and the SAFEVUE.ai form template system for Control of Work.

Worked with a major enterprise client to launch a revolutionary, next-generation safety and control of work system in the oil and shipping industry. Developed a wearable based location-based tracking system with a heads up display on board the vessel. Lead the digitalization of the Permit to Work system leveraging the wearable and location tracking capabilities with the forms.
●	Integrated an android application for our proprietary Intrinsically safe wearables that facilitate location tracking of the crew and the ability to trigger crew assist alerts when crew members are in danger.
●	Lead Developer of the form template and permit to work system. Developed the framework for onboarding clients permit to work protocols, including building out 42 permits to work along with 18 safety checklists that are used during the control of work on vessels.
●	Built a form builder module in the React application using Formik and Graphql to handle the UI for the back-end form templates.
●	Setup and managed test fairy deployment to pilot vessels.

Top Athletic Event Registration and Management company offering the whole vertical of event creation and management to participant signup and event onsite management.

Built a customizable report builder using Angular and C# for clients to filter and analyze their event, racer, and marchandise data in one dashboard. Rendered over 500k records joined between 20+ tables on the client-side using ng-grid that allowed exporting and filtering in realtime with < 2s of rendering.

Lead Engineer and Project Manager, overseeing an internal team of 4 developers, on migrating from Xamarin iOS and Android Mobile Prototype to React-Native iOS and Android mobile apps. Used React-Native, NativeBase, Redux, Jest, Enzyme, and Fetch to interact with our existing SQL and C# backend. Further, I took charge of architecting the platform and designing the API with DB and data models.

Off-and-on contracting to aid in the development and refactoring of a Django, Python, JS, and AWS  platform offering a SaaS suite of trust seal and email marketing products.

Took lead on refactoring the entire codebase to use JS instead of CoffeeScript. Integrated D3.js to develop analytic dashboards and interactive new feeds for clients to use in the SubscriberVoice client portal.

Developed multiple Voice-of-Customer widgets and third-party plugins to be simply deployed by clients upon their website(s). 

Built a suite of web-: scrappers and analyzers using Django, Python, and AWS to garnish reviews and publish progress reports for monitored clients.

Vol-K-no is an Entertainment Media Research Platform specializing in machine learning and analysis that rewards users by paying them with Amazon gift cards for their feedback during, and about, the exclusive movie trailers and videos featured on the platform for client research.
●	Built and managed a team of up to 5 engineers to build out a consumer web and mobile app, internal and client CMS, Analytic Dashboards, Node API, and Python models using CRON to run training cycles.
●	Developed a gamified video player that would allow for simple, meaningful feedback during videos using swipes, emojis, and other game mechanics that would be scored within the community.
●	Implemented the machine learning modules laid out in our patent, “A System and Method for Evaluating and Optimizing Media Content”, with David Parkes, Dean of Harvard’s Applied Sciences & CS department. We then used the predictive models to perform research on the collective feedback from the community on new movie trailers.
●	Android and iOS Ionic Mobile App – Built the user interface and backend with integrations in JS, MongoDB, Mongoose, and NodeJS.
