We worked on the MS Whiteboard app (check it out in preview at the MS Store!) that allows for concurrent users. My project was a full-stack effort to improve the performance of the web-based version of Whiteboard. I implemented deferred image fetching for embedded images and improved memory usage by up to 49% and board loading times by 51%. Images were being copied unnecessarily and I was able to simplify the process.
