### Software Engineering Intern @ Microsoft

I was on the Intentional team within the Experiences and Devices group. We worked on the MS Whiteboard app (check it out in preview at the MS Store!) that allows for concurrent users. My project was a full-stack effort to improve the performance of the web-based version of Whiteboard. I implemented deferred image fetching for embedded images and improved memory usage by up to 49% and board loading times by 51%. Images were being copied unnecessarily and I was able to simplify the process.
