I think coding is an art, like poetry. Well written code is clear, elegant, and concise. I obsess over readability. I strive to write beautiful software. Some people cook with love; I code with love. 

At 15, my passion ignited after I programmed some bots in a video game. After that, I was hooked and I couldn’t stop. Since then, I have written code to control drones with my arm, tools to detect fraud using facial recognition, and apps that help people talk to AI.

It brings me joy to work with a tight-knit team that marches towards a common goal. I love seeing customers use my code. I love talking to them. It's fulfilling. I thrive in chaotic and turbulent environments. That pushes me towards startups and small teams. 

I call myself a full-stack product engineer. I feel most comfortable with Javascript (React, Node, Typescript), Java (Spring), SQL (Postgres, Mysql), and Python. If I don’t know it, I learn it quickly. I love a good challenge.

### Senior Software Engineer @ Cantina

I built products/services that helped users talk to AI characters
- Wired up selfie capabilities into bot service (Rust).
- Wrote scheduling capabilities (Go).
- Refactored the service for readability.
- Built out the initial integration test suite. 
- Onboarded new engineers into the bot service (Rust).
- Worked with several other engineering teams to integrate with their services.
- Spoke with users to find issues and fix bugs.
- Did infra work to expose services in aws to other services (Terraform).

- Significantly sped up search features (1-2s to milliseconds) by duplicating data into an elastic search cluster (Postgresql, Spring, Elasticsearch)

I helped build out pipelines/services to battle credit-card fraud. 
- Built out multiple services to integrate with a legacy card engine and a new risk engine (Java, Springboot, Mysql)
- Integrated a KYC product into a legacy Card engine (Springboot, Java) 
- Took over as lead for an infra team to integrate a risk engine on schedule (Terraform, AWS)
