• Expanded the matching algorithm of PROXIMAL, an enzyme-substrate prediction software, to take into account 3D molecular structure to improve the accuracy of said predictions. 
• Researched and presented the current state of 3D molecular representation in software
• Developed a graph-based representation of molecular 3D structure that was specific to the software, minimizing the amount of code that needed to be refactored
