I'm a storyteller, with an engineering education. Thus, I pursue design because I can leverage stories to solve real-world problems.

At Disney, I learned the magic of stories and how to infuse delight into experiences.
At Meta, I learned how to design in mature, complex ecosystems.
At Figma, I learned how to do the job with managing stakeholders and expectations.

My approach to design is driven by the invaluable lessons I've learned from my past internships, which have become the guiding principles of my design philosophy:
1. Show Don't Tell: I firmly believe in the power of rapid prototyping to effectively convey and communicate my ideas, turning concepts into tangible experiences.
2. Define Before I Design: I've learned the importance of thorough preparation and setting the stage for any design project. Just like a good warm-up before a workout, it's essential to stretch and define the problem before diving into design solutions.
3. Devil in the Details: I understand the profound impact of grid systems, spacing, typography, and sizing on the user interface. Paying meticulous attention to these details ensures a seamless and user-friendly experience.

- I conducted user research, designed, prototyped, and shipped new interaction designs for the 2,000 users of CourseGrab (tool) and 500 users of Volume (media app).
- I also lead initiatives to build community within and outside the team. For example, I enjoyed creating designs for swag, like blankets and tumblers. I started of the traditions of AppDev Grabs Boba with Women in Computing at Cornell and AppDev Grabs Dinner with Underrepresented with Minorities to diversify our recruiting pipeline.
