Provided design support for MS-wide projects managed under the Xbox executive office of VP Dave McCarthy, in inclusive design, cultural development, diversity and accessibility design planning. Hands-on team lead for Interaction design. Produces interactive content and platform UI design support for the Xbox ecosystem. Drives design efforts across the Xbox unified control interface - gesture, voice and controller. Writes visual design standard guidelines for Xbox Live UI for console/TV, web, and second screen experiences. Aligns efforts and manages partnerships with research, usability and platform design teams. ### Visual Designer @ Microsoft Jan 2011 – Jan 2015 | United States New to gaming tech, I applied my 15 years of branding and visual design experience across Xbox 360 and Xbox One console product launches with a focus on AAA content promotion, motion, voice engagement, community planning, multiplayer improvements and the overall visual equity of the brand. He currently works for Microsoft as a Sr. UX designer for Xbox, Veteran Lead for the LGBTQIA+ Community, and has developed brands such as UGG Boots, Teva Sandals, Simple Shoes, and has designed for Burton, WB and Fox. With a degree in advertising from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA, Bohanna became the creative director and marketing manager for Deckers Outdoor Corporation, running the UGG Boots and Simple Shoes brands early in his career from 1996 to 2002, increasing Ugg revenues from $4M/year to $900M/year in partnership with a NYC PR agency, the 2002 US Olympic Games (winning an Emmy with Bob Mackie) and working with Oprah Winfrey's top 10 favorite things for 4 Christmases in a row.
