As the sole mobile developer for the Stamps.com brand, I handle the entire app lifecycle across both iOS and Android platforms. This encompasses architecture planning, feature implementation, and deployment to the Google Play Store and App Store. I expertly utilize React Native to streamline development and ensure cross-platform compatibility.
I led the development and collaborated on various client projects, including Farm Credit Canada, Absorb, Humanity31, Xinja, and Modelland. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, project managers, and QA, I employed Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality Android applications. I demonstrated expertise in Kotlin and Java, excelling in MVVM and Clean Architecture. Additionally, I proficiently utilized AndroidX, Dagger/Kotlin, RESTful API/GraphQL, UI/Animations, and Firebase.
I developed and integrated features for the Honeywell Lyric app, enabling users to control devices such as the Lyric and Jasper thermostats and the Water Leak Detector. I also implemented Bluetooth protocol integration to facilitate connectivity between mobile devices and thermostats. Additionally, I engineered geofencing capabilities to detect the proximity of users' mobile devices to thermostats, enhancing automation and improving the user experience.
I led the sole development of the Eagle Eye Viewer app, a robust platform for managing and viewing cloud-based video surveillance services. I was solely responsible for the app's architecture, UI design, feature implementation, and deployment to the Google Play Store, effectively operating as the entire Android development component of the team.
I contributed to Android development for multiple client projects, including 1-800 Contacts, MyHumana, and Clover. My focus was on ensuring robust app performance and user-friendly interfaces.
