I upgrade python versions in a massive monorepo, write custom linters (e.g. for GDPR compliance) and codemods, improve python virtualenv builds and image builds. I de-risk codebase-wide project rollouts via test and observability plans.

Kite, a desktop developer tools company, was acquired by Affirm June 2021.

• Owned growth engineering end-to-end with Kite Pro, communicating between product and marketing to a/b test various conversion experiences (e.g. trials vs paywall).
•  Released new code navigation product by hooking into ML models in our desktop daemon, exposing endpoints for our desktop application, and implementing related product specs for editor plugins.
• Improved transparency of our release cycle by migrating and consolidating release databases.
• Migrated release service from AWS to Kubernetes on GCP.
• Reduced memory usage of patch updates in Linux from 2gb to 50mb by adding streaming to bspatch.
• Transitioned electron frontend and VSCode plugin from vanilla Javascript to Typescript
• Used Golang, Typescript, Javascript, Python, Vimscript on the Core Engineering Team
