# Tony Chu > UX for LLMs Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/tonychu I am a designer who specializes in data visualization, interaction design, data science and UI engineering. My practice involves observing behaviors in people and systems, making hypothesis about design approaches, and testing them iteratively using prototypes (e.g. UI code, visual mock-ups, or improv theatre sessions.) Over the last 5 years I've focused on design at the intersection of machine learning and product development. In my spare time, I like to learn about behavioural science, management, and politics. ## Work Experience ### Design Engineer @ Augment Code Jan 2025 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area ### Product Designer @ Writ Jan 2024 – Jan 2025 | San Francisco Bay Area ### Lead Designer @ Tecton Jan 2021 – Jan 2024 | San Francisco, California, United States ### Design Manager, AI Platform & Tools @ Facebook Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 ### Product Designer @ Facebook Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 ### VP, Design Technology @ Noodle.ai Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco Bay Area Building and leading Noodle.ai's Design Technology team.
