Developed a statistical framework and diagnostic toolset in Python and R to discover new relationships between genotype and phenotype by analyzing very large human genetic datasets. Conducted large-scale analysis on the order of hundreds of millions of points of genetic data. More specifically, I tackled the unsolved problem of discovering and quantifying independent expression quantitative trait loci (eQTLs) in the human genome using various machine learning multiple regression algorithms. Delivered 1-hour oral presentation at the end of summer.
