# Tony Park > SWE II @ Datadog | Prev @ Bloomberg, Apple, Snap Location: New York, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/tonypark Software Engineer 2 at Datadog ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer II @ Datadog Jan 2025 – Present | New York, New York, United States ### Software Engineer @ Bloomberg Jan 2023 – Jan 2025 | New York, New York, United States ### Software Engineer Intern @ Snap Inc. Jan 2022 – Jan 2022 | Santa Monica, California, United States Lens Studio, Camera Platform Team ### Machine Learning Engineer Intern @ Apple Jan 2022 – Jan 2022 | Cupertino, California, United States Machine Learning Platform & Technology Team in AI/ML iContest 2022 Winner ### Machine Learning Intern @ NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 | Huntsville, Alabama, United States • Researched and utilized a Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithm called word2vec and word embeddings using Python and Jupyter Notebook to train a model that identifies the meaning of specific verbs in a sentence (synsets). • Developed a Named Entity Recognition (NER) Model that is trained to identify labels in research paper abstracts using BERT-E model and CoNLL data format. • Manually created hundreds of training data to guarantee higher model accuracy. ### Software Engineer Intern @ Northrop Grumman Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 | Baltimore, Maryland, United States • Developed an Autoencoder in MATLAB and C++ that categorized the type of anomaly in a communications signal, if present. • Detected real-time abnormal behavior that helped prevent costly failures that would have been difficult to detect later in the process. • Passed on the code after the end of internship and is now the basis for the work the rest of team will carry on. ### Software Engineer Intern @ NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Washington D.C. Metro Area Developed a script in Jupyter Notebook that quickly identified trends and anomalies in the Arctic Region. While doing so, I worked alongside researchers located in the Arctic in real-time to send them updated information on the data they sent me. My program was able to notify the researchers the important areas to investigate. This project was essential because it contributed to slowing down the global ice loss problem in the Arctic. At the end of the internship, the code was given to the rest of the team to utilize in future NASA projects. ### Summer Internship @ Children's Science Center Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Fairfax County, Virginia Taught students ranging from elementary to high school on science-related fields. Primarily used hands-on activities, experiments, and lectures for educational purposes. ## Education ### Bachelor of Science - BS in Computer Science University of Michigan College of Engineering ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/tony-park-b41531193 --- Source: https://flows.cv/tonypark JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/tonypark/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-05
