This included launching multiple large scale B2B and B2C products that greatly improved user conversion and retention for both our Vendor and Couple customer bases. I regularly partnered with product, business, and engineering from concept to post-launch tracking and iteration. I also led design discovery to identify impactful product opportunities to research, design, prototype, and test. I communicated designs to team members through wireframes, sketches, concepts, and prototypes. I also developed and maintained a design system for the Vendor Marketplace product. ### Product Designer @ Zola.com Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 ### Product Designer @ Serve Robotics Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 | San Francisco Bay Area ### Product Designer @ Postmates Inc. Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | San Francisco Bay Area As a Product Designer, I have grown my skills through a variety of digital, hardware, and CMF projects. Some of these have included redesigning user interfaces, developing a Serve-centered customer support flow, and rendering 3D designs for cargo solutions. As a UX Researcher, I am still responsible for investigating important product questions, such as “Can Serve really deliver a 2lb burrito?” I do this by independently conducting user research studies, as well as by synthesizing data that can be easily understood and utilized by the entire team. I work closely with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to conduct research that is meaningful to our product as a whole. I also function as the Design team's liaison to the Operations team, a role which gave me the opportunity to lead a team of 10+ people in the launch of our robotic delivery service in the Los Angeles area. ### Associate Designer @ Postmates Inc. Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | San Francisco, California As an Associate Designer and Researcher, it is my primary responsibility to assist in uncovering the answers to important product questions, such as “Can Serve really deliver a 2lb burrito?” I do this by supporting the Lead UX Researcher in composing research protocols, moderator’s guides, and consent forms, as well as by synthesizing data that can be easily understood and utilized by the entire team. During the “research lulls,” when there are hardware or software limitations that have blocked our research goals, I have taken on other responsibilities to both grow my skills and support my team. Some of these tasks have included redesigning user interfaces, developing a Serve-centered customer support flow, testing software prototypes requiring limited coding knowledge, and leading the operations team in the launching of our delivery pilot. I also function as Design team's liaison to the Operations team. This includes responsibilities such as holding weekly sync meetings with leads to coordinate the dedication of Op’s resources to the Design team’s goals. ### UX Research Consultant @ Uber Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco As a contracted User Experience Researcher at Uber, I am working with a product development team to test and refine a new and innovative program for Uber riders. Our top priority is to provide a high quality brand experience for our customers. In conjunction with a nation-wide team, I run usability tests to determine the functionality of various aspects of the application. The data that I collect is shared with the rest of the development team and reflects the progress we are making toward the completion of this new product. ### Research Assistant @ Infant Development Lab Jan 2016 – Jan 2018 | University of California, Santa Cruz I assisted Dr. Su-Hua Wang and her graduate students in performing various experiments exploring what babies know and how they learn it. This includes focuses on infantile memory and attention, early learning, their interpretation of people around them, and use of technology.
