I enjoy problem-solving in all of its forms. Whether it is building an app from scratch, rearranging my college dorm room, to video making, I find the process of pinning an idea down, breaking it into subproblems, and finding creative ways to tackle them super gratifying.
Developed back-end logic for features such as wikipedia page about DMV, resulting in 10% traffic to DMV services; developed real-time charts on admin page to inform director board’s decision-making.

Migrated EIDL Loans database with 10 million+ entries using AWS RDS and created full-stack EIDL search page with Typescript, React, Docker.

Part of 4-people engineering team that restructured the codebase, migrating four separate projects into one, taking advantage of Nexus-GraphQL, NextJS, and Prisma. Improved development time by 90%.
Upgraded the company’s website & Facebook page with 14,000 followers. Increased 10% in website traffic.

Conducted ground research for the company’s upcoming mini-documentary series; Interviewed Saigon-famous street vendors for their stories; Assisted the filming process for these short films.
