I maintained and updated a REST API with Java/Spring to break down an overloaded Upsert endpoint into separate Create and Update endpoints.
Also developed a UI that hit the API endpoints that allowed customers to manually create test profiles, as well as monitor which profiles are currently used in test runs. The UI was made with React and Typescript.

For two summers, I assisted research to accurately detect greenhouse gas emissions at 1.6 micrometers through standoff measurements. I implemented a user interface for a telescope in C and C++. The UI interfaced with a camera, focuser, and mount to remotely move the telescope efficiently with an accurate display of what the telescope is looking at. I also provided an interface to multiple pieces of lab equipment and integrated the interfaces into legacy code.

I made and maintained unit tests for existing software and fixed code to pass the tests. Also made a GUI in C# that displayed data from a LiDAR sensor. Data was brought in a .pcap file, displayed as a point cloud, and outputted to a CSV file.
