# Travis Franklin > Frontend Software Engineer Location: Atlanta Metropolitan Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/travisfranklin Frontend software engineer here. Before becoming a developer, my background has run the gamut of legal, non-profit, and private sector work. While my experience is broad, I always gravitated towards the digital side of things, and I'm looking to continue that trend in my next role. During my tenure at Loyal, I worked on three major initiatives. The first was our User Management Application. I developed features that allowed creating, updating, and removing user accounts, which impacted various products. Some features included a search box, filter, and pending users page. The second initiative that I contributed to was our shared React library, which was called Uniform. There, I built reusable components that were consumed by other various products throughout our company. I created components from scratch and fielded requests for updates and bug fixes. I also helped write documentation and tests for these components. The last initiative was a project called Platform. What Platform sought to accomplish was to consolidate our existing products, which were stand-alone applications, into a single "platform" where users could access our entire suite of products from one location. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Loyal Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | Atlanta, Georgia, United States • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to implement the micro-frontend architecture, facilitating the migration of products to a unified platform. • Played a pivotal role in developing and maintaining Loyal’s design system and shared React UI/UX component library. • Wrote Cypress and Jest tests to cover both React components and user-flow integration tests. • Converted 100% of application codebase, approximately 50 components, from React.js to TypeScript.js. • Revamped legacy React.js components, enhancing functionality and user experience. • Conducted team meetings, authored documentation, and facilitated successful onboarding of new hires. • Presented to the Executive Leadership team on compliance with accessibility (a11y) standards relating to WCAG and ADA compliance. • Managed the deployment process for the codebase, all the way from development to production via Azure • Constructed a scalable application for onboarding and managing new clients/customers. ### Web Developer and Digital Marketer @ THE MISSION MOTIF LLC Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 | Greater Atlanta Area • Wrote customized HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the store’s website. • Conducted bulk imports and exports of products into the store’s database. • Contributed to online sales strategy and optimized SEO and digital advertising to increase online visibility and drive sales. • Utilized web development skills to enhance the user experience on the store's website, leading to increased customer engagement and sales. • Managed online orders, tracked deliveries, and organized accounts receivable and payable. • Served as a sales assistant when the senior sales agents were busy helping other customers. ## Education ### Full Stack Web Engineering Certificate in Web Development and Software Engineering DigitalCrafts ### Bachelor of Science - BS in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management Georgia State University ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/travis-franklin-a63623199 --- Source: https://flows.cv/travisfranklin JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/travisfranklin/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-29
