Projects contributed to in AXA:

- Fully refactored AXA HK Health Funnel, an existing meteor.js application, into React, to increase maintainability and decrease load time.

-  Worked on the AXA HK Home Insurance eCommerce funnel, using React and an express.js microservice architecture. This project also followed TDD standards to deliver continuously and enforce quality, bug free code.

Doing full stack web development for a custom eCommerce platform. AngularJS and Bootstrap on the front end to allow for quick implementations of intricate tasks leading to a smooth and responsive user experience. Using Sails.js, an MVC framework built on top of Node and Express, and MySQL for the back end to rapidly develop an eCommerce and content management system.

Also worked with three interns to design and develop a hybrid mobile app, HopHop Chef, from wireframes to prototype using Ionic, a hybrid framework allowing for the development of mobile applications using HTML/CSS/JS. This process involved creating mockups, product design, relational database design design of a REST-ful api, followed by the implementation of those designs in a fast-paced and agile manner.

Contributed to an Adaptive Learning module called LeaP which operates with the goal to use past data to serve student the best content that will help them learn in a personalized fashion.

Worked with C# using ASP.NET and the MVC framework to maintain and develop an asynchronous job server to handle long, non-blocking tasks (e.g., indexing a file) as well as a web server to accept requests and serve content while communicating using RabbitMQ to the job server. Used SQL stored procedures to extract and manipulate data from the servers.

Worked with Bootstrap and Sass to create a responsive and pleasant user experience. Worked with jQuery and Knockout.js for data-binding allowing for a MVVM front end architecture that is easy to develop and maintain.

### Side Project @ Cupsup

CupsUp was a hybrid application for Android and iOS built on top of Cordova.

The philosophy of CupsUp is centered around connecting people through group matches, and getting people to socialize in a more comfortable and fun setting. Heavily inspired by Japanese "gokon" and developed before Tinder also implemented a group based matching system.

I was responsible for much of the back end development, mostly using node.js, and helped out with building some of the UI using the Ionic framework.

Developed a custom eCommerce platform to search for and purchase house plans online. Used jQuery and Foundation for the front end allowing for a responsive and rich experience. Used Laravel, a popular MVC framework for PHP, and MySQL to build an extensive search platform.
