Advocated for a user obsessed ship culture by working across all our partner teams to define success metrics specific to their feature offerings and integrate these metrics into an automated feature release system used to perform A/B experiments. Designed a methodology for users of the platform to add new unique metrics to this system in order to increase its scalability as the teams partnerships grew. Oversaw multiple layers of the platform including the SDK, HTTP socket orchestrator, and speech entity recognition. From these teams I worked to create cutting edge voice first intelligent ‘skills’ and began strides to offer these to third party developers. Managed over 40 developers across four continents to pull together large cross company work streams. Ran “scrum of scrums” with senior leads, created quarterly objectives and key result milestones, and facilitated cross team collaboration to integrate Cortana voice assistant in products across the Microsoft 365 suite including Outlook, Teams, Windows and more, reaching hundreds of millions of users. Drove product vision and experiences by utilizing Machine Learning, cutting edge speech understanding technology, strict data compliance standards (China Sovereign Cloud, European GDPR, and more), and extensive customer research. ### Product Manager Intern @ Microsoft Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Redmond, WA • Performed market analysis on children’s use with smart speakers, including interviews and research. Then used this information to create spec’s for three differentiating features. • Aligned stakeholders across multiple teams for my three features through a strong proof of concept and detailed spec. Finally, found capable FTE’s with relevant feature ownerships to follow through with shipping these products upon the conclusion of my internship. ### Product Manager and Software Developer Intern @ Microsoft Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Redmond, WA • Worked with a team of two other interns on the Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management team, in a Program Management role as well as a Software Developer role in order too to see the progression of a feature from both the innovation and implementation stand point. • Utilized C# in Microsoft Visual Studio and Java Script to implement a user interface, to create an interactive dashboard that display’s information on the deployment status of each feature.
