Hi there!

I’m Tung Nguyen, a third-year student at UC Berkeley, pursuing a B.A. in Cognitive Science and Data Science. As a first-generation, low-income college student, I am deeply committed to using design as a tool for social impact, creating accessible, user-centered experiences that bridge gaps, amplify underrepresented voices, and foster community connection.

My work spans UX research, digital storytelling, and product design, with a focus on leveraging data to inform thoughtful, inclusive design solutions. Whether it’s working on educational initiatives that empower first-gen students or collaborating with nonprofits to build impactful digital experiences, I believe that design is most powerful when it serves as a conduit for equity and connection.

Outside of the classroom, you can find me frolicking in the woods, sharing meals with friends, and curating an outfit for the next week.
