Developing new cell products. Previously led problem-solving efforts to scale in-house 4680 cell production.

Led an 8 member cross-functional team to develop LFP/Gr Li-ion prismatic cells for EV and Grid applications, built on a 100 MWh proto-line in MI. Responsible for cell design, cell product strategy, and technology roadmap.

Chief engineer for 2 prismatic cells: 120Ah LFP/Gr cell & 240Ah NMC/Cu (anode-free) cell. For a dual-chemistry 600-mile BMW iX EV demonstrated POC pack.

Qualified vendor NMC/Si-Gr cells for current (Joby S4) and future eVTOL programs.

Built from scratch and led the vendor 18650 and 2170 cell qualification and selection program and test facility for eBikes/eScooters (Jump) and eVTOLs/Drones (Elevate). There are still 1000's of Jump (now Lime) eBikes and eScooters deployed in several major US cities that run on cells that I qualified!
