Strawberry.me is the leading dual-sided professional coaching marketplace platform that matches users with vetted coaches based on their goals. As the founding designer, I owned the entire design function across both sides of the platform.

• Lead the end-to-end creation of a scalable design system

• Design and implement responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript

• Drive design decisions and A/B tests that directly improved conversion, retention, and usability.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, data teams, and marketing

Conducted an honors thesis study on how button design affects website navigation and selected as 1 of 15 posters (out of 240) at the UCSB Library Undergraduate Research Showcase; manuscript pending publication in URCAJ.

• Recruited and ran in-person sessions with 120 participants across a self-designed research protocol

• Analyzed behavioral data in R to identify specific design elements that improve navigational efficiency

BetterHelp is the largest online therapy matching platform and marketplace, matching users with licensed therapists. I designed across both consumer- and therapist-facing surfaces.

• Implemented multiple projects on all consumer- and therapist-facing pages following iterations, successful sprint, and hand-off to the software development team.

• Conducted heuristic and competitive analysis to identify pain points and goals

• Collaborated with UX writers, data scientists, developers, and product managers to redesign video session testing features on BetterHelp’s consumer- and therapist-facing pages through user flows, information architectures, low and high fidelity wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

Pool Up was a peer-to-peer rideshare marketplace for college students, matching drivers and passengers for long-distance road trips. I designed across the homepage to the onboarding flow for the app

• Collaborated cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, and executives weekly to align on roadmap and evolve the design system

• Revamped the design system end-to-end to support a full product redesign

• Ran A/B and usability tests to surface pain points and inform new features ahead of mobile launch

• Delivered wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes under tight deadlines​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Echokids is a tutoring marketplace connecting students and parents with music teachers. I designed dashboard and homepage designs for both types of users

• Redesigned 30+ pages across desktop and mobile, driving a 200% increase in retention

• Led end-to-end research: 8 user interviews, competitive analysis, and heuristic evaluation

• Presented weekly to executive stakeholders; collaborated with CTO and 2 PMs to define user requirements
