While at GreatHorn, I helped contribute to many main features, stabilization efforts, performance improvements and cost reduction. During my tenure, I was able to help increase the performance of the system 200X from 200 messages per second to 40,000 messages per second. I contributed directly to these goals in the following ways:

* Identified bottlenecks in analysis performance and implemented new systems to replace

* Found main slowdown in daily analysis and replace system with a pre-accumulation system resulting in the complete reduction of slowdowns when migrated

* Replaced email scanning schedule system that decrease times between scans by 3X+ and reliability by 9X

* Implemented caching layers where services took too long

* Replaced legacy scanning system

* Helped replace legacy trend analysis platform

* Found architectural inefficiency causing slow dashboard performance

* Moved from SOLR to Elastic-Search

Additionally, I help decrease the burn rate of the product by aiding in the cost reduction effort decreasing the cost of the system nearly in half. I contributed directly to this effort in the following areas:

* Reduced storage space of system in half while preserving the content

* Identified cost points that could be reduced

In addition to overall product improvements, I was responsible for designing, architecting, implementing, overseeing and planning these features:

* Pre-Analysis

* Link Protection

* KnowBe4/Cofense Integration

* Next Gen API Design

* Advanced Threat Detection Model

While at Jump Trading, I was responsible for maintaining core C++ applications, contributing to the ever growing tech stack, and innovating new technologies. My responsibilities included:

* Building, managing and maintaining core C++ applications including:

** Cloud configuration and inter-application messaging system

** Real-time monitoring server and stop switch

** Symbology resolution system

** Applications interfacing directly with third-parties

* Architected, developed and maintained and managed a C++ and python pipeline for promoting, verifying, and resolving symbology:

** Full stack engineering in Flask and Django, including team's first web application

* Wrote Python libraries wrapping C++ code or re-implementing C++ wire protocols
