Since then I’ve worked on games, small marketing websites, large apps, Restful APIs, ETL pipelines and more. ## Work Experience ### Senior Software Engineer @ Catalyst Software Jan 2022 – Present | New York, New York, United States - Designed, implemented, and iterated upon multiple Spark ETL pipelines in Databricks to consume over 100 customers' unique integration data and persist it to an HTAP database (TiDB) to be used in the application layer. - Quickly iterated on an existing pipeline for a customer with an opt-out clause to secure a $67k ARR deal. The feature allowed customers to define how their integration data matched to the application data. - Came up with an in-house solution to replace a CDC tool (Debezium) that was having constant outages. Maintaining it required 3 teams and over 20 hours a week of a Sr. Staff Engineers time. Now it can be managed by 1 Sr. Engineer. This saved the company over $10k a month in AWS costs alone and has had 0 downtime. ### Full-stack Developer @ Bluemill Jan 2018 – Jan 2022 | Louisville, Kentucky Area - Was lead in creating inventory management, shipping, receiving and Quickbooks integrations into existing Laravel admin panel to relieve clients of the need of 3rd party solutions saving tens of thousands of dollars. - Migrated projects from Laravel 4 to Laravel 5 and improved user experience and added data analysis tools for existing products using Angular, HTML5 and CSS3. - Managed the load layer of our data pipeline using Amazon DMS, Airbyte, python/luigi, and k8s with Argo. - Managed Amazon DMS and Airbyte to sync billions of rows and terabytes of data from the app database (MySQL) and various 3rd party data sources into our Redshift data warehouse. - Enhanced functionality of an audio processing application by implementing the ability to adjust cuts, adding a preview feature for skips, and conducting code cleanup to remove bugs and optimize performance using VueJS. ### Full-stack Developer @ J&L Marketing, Inc.
