### Senior Software Engineer @ Torch Labs
Jan 2018 – Jan 2025
I was the third developer hired to a YC backed startup, our team was a team of less than ten at the time. At the end of my journey the company had grown and shrunk to over a hundred and acquired series C funding. Together over 7 years I helped take Torch and it's UI from ideation to a full front end monorepo that tackled any needs of the business.

The UI we built helped provide solutions for user dashboards, assessment surveys, calendar integration scheduling, virtual meetings over third party platforms like Zoom, Twilio, and Whereby, meeting tracking software, and much more. I also championed our vitest and react tesing library efforts in order to improve consistency. This lead to the facilitation of tens of thousands of hours of coaching to leaders to improve their emotional intelligence.

Mainly worked with: React, Typescript, NX, Chakra-ui, Vite, Vitest, React testing libary, AWS, AWS Amplify

Wrote and patched extensive T-SQL Stored Procedures, Views, and Triggers. Programmed custom plugins with WinForms for Visual Studio to improve creating and tracking customer patches. Worked with ExtJS to convert standalone database interface application to a web based solution.

.NET Developer, Android Developer, Windows Phone Silverlight Developer. Dealt heavily with SOAP Webservices, LINQ, WPF Development, and Android Development. Was co-lead developer on two professional applications designed to assist Emergency Responders titled Mobile Map and Station Manager. I also assisted in writing an ASP.NET website for the Emergency Responders. I wrote our ECM2 Application for Android titled, "ECM2" as well as for the Windows Phone. I wrote proof of concept work for another prototype application that uses OpenWRT, schematics, and triangulation.
