An open source Docker compose charting and navigation tool.

Built to reduce cognitive load and simplify the development environment for engineers. Making containerization fun and easy, with an Interactive D3 visualizer that dynamically renders essential Docker Compose properties onto an Electron GUI.

● Constructed an Electron application leveraging native-desktop familiarity with cross-platform compatibility and a modern UI.

● Employed React component-based architecture utilizing dynamic algorithms with prioritized rendering to create a responsive user interface that is capable of handling unique client-side state actions and handling receptive view changes.

● Utilized Typescript for its static types and compilation time error handling to build a predictable codebase, decreasing run-time errors and benefiting overall team best practices and workflow with types and interfaces.

● Integrated a D3 visualizer using force directed graphs to represent docker yml data, giving users the ability to see and manipulate services for a greater depth of understanding.

● Configured Webpack and Babel to bundle assets, increasing codebase modularity, and maximize responsiveness, while minimizing development and build time through hot module reloading.

● Incorporated Jest and Enzyme test suites to ensure application integrity and continuous code stability.

● Implemented Travis CI continuous integration by creating a travis yml file that made sure the application passed all tests before features were merged into the master branch keeping the codebase consistent.

● Algorithmically parsed and formatted data from a Docker-Compose file to set state and visualize data in a meaningful way.

● Applied complex algorithms to achieve a uniquely artistic and dynamic web page with an ever-changing UX.

● Created authentication platform for talent with node and SQL to access company credentials through user log-in specs.

● Configured a puppeteer headless-browser allowing clients to access distributor sites from log-in with company credentials.

● Employed headless-browser and web-scraping techniques with Python, Selenium, and Beautiful Soup to gather new client leads and contact information, automating the process of connecting with new talent.
