I build the systems that make devices feel magical — OS-level infrastructure where milliseconds matter and billions of users are affected by every decision.

Currently at Apple as a Staff Software Engineer on the Operating Systems team, I develop platform-level components that accelerate AI capabilities across the full breadth of Apple hardware. My work enables product teams to ship features that feel genuinely new — the kind that make people reach for their phones without knowing exactly why.

Before Apple, I spent nearly 8 years at Meta shipping at scale across some of the world's most-used apps. I worked on video infrastructure for Instagram (leading the ExoPlayer 2 migration and ABR adoption), WhatsApp's Android efficiency (battery, memory, disk), WhatsApp Payments infrastructure, and Portal identity systems that brought WhatsApp to a new form factor. I know what it means to ship features to 2 billion users and to be paged at 2am when something breaks.

I've been building on Android since 2010 — before most of the Android ecosystem existed. I've also shipped on iOS/Apple platforms, Windows 8, and BlackBerry. That breadth means I think in systems, not silos.

What I care about: elegant architecture, developer leverage, and the intersection of OS primitives and AI. I'm drawn to teams solving hard problems in the platform layer where the leverage is highest.

- Instagram Video Infrastructure: Drove adoption of ExoPlayer 2 and Adaptive Bitrate (ABR) streaming improvments — meaningfully improving video quality and reliability at global scale.
