At this time in his life, Ulysses was introduced to the intangible life lessons; such as why it is important to be self motivated, how to be a team leader and how teams function. On this certain day, a young Ulysses scored four touchdowns in a game, but if you ask him, he would argue for five touchdowns counting the punt return that was called back because of a penalty. Due to his brilliant performance at the game, he received an interview for the local paper. He didn’t forget to praise his teammates for their game achievements’. At such a young age, Ulysses understood the significance of teamwork and how success is obtained by working together to reach your highest-level of accomplishment. As a fashion forward individual, this experience was one of many that gave Ulysses life direction leading to him to become a well-rounded Product Developer. With the ability to expand and evolve in both design and production within the apparel industry, his rareness is as unique as his experiences. Today Ulysses is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising at the San Francisco campus, with a degree in Product Development. He was also selected to attend the International Manufacturing Product Development (IMPD) 3rd year program. His studies and participation in the IMPD program with partner VF Corporation (Wrangler boy’s division) gave him international exposure and experience. Ulysses appreciates the all-around effort it takes to bring a finished product to the market.
