# Unekwu-Ojo Shaibu > PM at Carnegie Learning | Ex-PM @ Schmidt Futures | DS4A Fellow at Correlation One Location: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/unekwuojo I began my career working at the intersection of data science, bioinformatics, and product management, tackling complex challenges in education and healthcare, often in contexts serving underserved populations. That work grounded me in user-centered storytelling, rigorous research and data analysis, and strategic problem-solving under real constraints. I'm interested in streaming technologies and integrating AI into systems (my current work is on learning systems) where success depends not just on models, but on how intelligence is delivered, governed, and sustained in production. I’ve worked on multimodal AI experiences, combining text, audio, and video, designed to support learning outcomes while remaining reliable, cost-conscious, and scalable. My north star is enabling data-informed multimodal personalization to better serve users by building AI-enabled and AI-powered systems that teams can stand behind, and learners can actually benefit from. ## Work Experience ### Product Manager, Learning Engineering @ Carnegie Learning Jan 2023 – Present | United States Led product execution at the intersection of learning science and AI, powering adaptive video experiences across Math and World Languages. Drove integration of multimodal AI tutoring (text + video) into live classrooms, partnering cross-functionally across engineering, research, and design to balance pedagogy, technical feasibility, and cost. Scaled experimentation and analytics capabilities to enable responsible AI deployment, measurable student impact, and data-informed product decisions. ### Associate Product Manager (Rotation) @ Carnegie Learning Jan 2023 – Jan 2023 With deep roots in research and advanced education technology, Carnegie Learning learns more every day about how students learn best, and how we can use that insight to help educators continually drive better outcomes. ### Associate Product Manager @ Schmidt Futures Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | United States APM in a two-year rotational program that's designed to provide the experience and network needed for me to serve as an effective product and strategy contributor in the social impact space.
