As the first engineer on Alto's growth team, I identified, implemented, and iterated on high-leverage growth opportunities to grow Alto's patient base and revenue, including running onboarding A/B experiments, integrating a cross-channel marketing platform (Iterable), and optimizing performance of key API calls.
Worked closely with partner teams, including our Sales and Marketing teams, to comprehensively understand their goals, guide our product roadmap using my technical expertise, and consistently add value to projects across the company.
Identified and executed on novel, high impact opportunities, such as launching an engineering blog and brokering partnerships to assist with recruiting diverse engineers
Interviewed, onboarded, and mentored new engineers on the team

Core contributor to performance testing infrastructure (Python, Java, PostgreSQL) that developers use to reliably run 1000's of tests each day using a combination of open source projects (Webpagetest) and tools (AWS, Google Lighthouse, Pagespeed Insights), including ability to automatically scale tester agents based on real time demand.
Grew and shared knowledge with other developers via one on one consultations, attending conferences (Google Chrome Dev Summit), and writing blog posts.
Implemented extensive monitoring (JavaScript) on Redfin.com to measure caching effectiveness, JavaScript bundling, and RUM (real user monitoring) performance metrics.
Built ”Top Homes” lists (Java, JavaScript, React) to drive user engagement and improve SEO

As a course producer (undergraduate TA) for computer science classes at USC, I had the distinct privilege of teaching and assisting students with learning programming--from basic concepts such as recursion and pointers to more advanced concepts including polymorphism, search algorithms, and advanced data structures.
Accomplishments
● Run a lab section twice a week for 30 programming students, helping them understand essential concepts such as algorithms and fundamental data structures.
● Hold weekly office hours to assist with concepts, homework, and projects

During my summer at Redfin, I had complete ownership of creating the test automation infrastructure of Redfin's Android and iOS apps. My work empowers developers to run tests on Redfin's mobile apps with ease, and ensures that as Redfin pushes towards Continuous Deployment on its main site, Redfin's apps stay reliable for its users.
Accomplishments
● Built the mobile infrastructure from scratch, including analyzing and surfacing up test files through static analysis, integrating with Jenkins and an internal test reporting tool, and integrating the functionality into a preexisting tool, Test Selector.
● Reduced time to kick off a mobile test by 90%, from 5 minutes to 30 seconds, while significantly increasing the ease of kicking off mobile tests.
