Transformational thought leader and technology executive at the intersection of hardware design and cloud enablement with work experience on three continents (Americas, Europe, Africa) and a track record of delivering strategic projects. I enjoy the opportunity to combine the roles of people manager and technical leader and building both high performance teams driving business transformation, and leading them in building transformational systems. In the process of my career, I’ve held leadership roles in the design of four supercomputers, several generations of enterprise servers, and two generations of IBM’s cloud platform.

I have a track record of successfully delivering high stakes projects with cross-organizational cross-geography teaming as project lead, chief architect, senior manager and strategist. As architect, I led architecture definition and design of IBM processors for BlueGene and Power enterprise servers, and IBM’s commercial cloud offerings and the Watson Health cloud.

During my time at the Technische Universitaet, I taught computer architecture and hardware/software design, and FPGA rapid prototyping. I conducted pioneering research into application acceleration and invented the first application accelerators for fuzzy logic and artificial neural networks.

I designed and implemented a Time-triggered architecture (TTA) protocol processor for X-by-wire applications for automotive, locomotive and aerospace applications, where I architected and implemented key processor core units for embedded processor.
