At thredUP, I helped drive the move to Kotlin Multiplatform and now lead engineering for the P2P marketplace across Android and iOS. My work spans architecture, delivery, migration strategy, and developer experience.

I’m strongest in situations that need both execution and judgment:
- building new product areas from scratch
- leading migrations that improve long-term leverage
- using AI and automation to speed up development without trading away stability
- turning design and product intent into shippable systems

I like hard product and platform problems, especially when they require convincing people, proving the approach, and then scaling it.

Previously: top-30 in Google’s Flutter Clock Challenge. Background in

- Led mobile engineering for P2P marketplace, building a new cross-platform product area on Kotlin Multiplatform to serve Android and iOS with a shared foundation.
- Helped drive the modernization of the mobile stack from legacy Java toward a modern Kotlin, Compose, and KMP architecture, improving delivery speed, stability, and overall developer experience.
- Streamlined the mobile release process from roughly monthly releases to a weekly cadence, enabling faster iteration and more consistent product delivery.
- Improved Android crash-free rate from 97% to 99.99% through platform stability work, stronger state management patterns, and release-quality improvements.
- Led major platform and process migrations, including new architecture patterns, tooling, and developer workflows that made the team faster, more stable, and easier to scale.

— Initiated and led technical re-architecture of Xamarin app (250K lines of business logic) to native iOS and Android using Swift and Kotlin in 6 months.
— Lead a team of 6 mobile developers with a weekly release schedule. Grew 2 Middle developers to Senior level.
— Improved release process, which led to a decrease in the release schedule from 2 months to 1 week. 
— Improved release deployment time using automation from over a day to under an hour.
— Brought the Android application rating from a 2.3 to a 4.7, the highest app rating has ever had.
— Reduced API integration time by 70% by streamlining the process using Swagger.

— Built a white label for cellular network tariff management application with run-time and compile-time customization using Kotlin.

— Architected the server-driven UI approach for Android platform. 
— Designed and implemented automated tests written in BDD, while expanding a proprietary test framework and an internal test execution infrastructure as necessary.
