Everything you need to know about me boils down to this: I love trying to figure things out.

It started with my third grade teacher, who decided to put me in our school math competition. Instantly, I fell in love with creative problem solving. I continued to participate in math contests until I finally graduated high school, even being lucky enough to participate in the highly exclusive American Invitational Math Exams as well. 

In high school, I then took my first computer science course. Once I realized that how similar coding was to solving puzzles, I knew it would be a great field for me to explore (which I happily do to this day).

Now, in college, as I expand my academic horizon, I hope to use my problem solving skills to tackle many more mind-bending problems from "How do you stand out in startup culture?" to "How do you beat the stock market?"

But above all, whether it's software development, data analysis, financial modeling, entrepreneurship,  my passion has always and will always derive from the feeling of not knowing the answer to a problem and wanting to solve it more than anyone else.

### Associate Software Engineer, SEM @ Talroo
Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 | Austin, Texas, United States
• Increased ROI by 5-20% for campaigns spending a combined $1.4 million monthly on advertising
platforms (i.e. Google Ads) by writing Python (Pandas) scripts to customize ads and analyzing
revenue data from MySQL to adjust bidding strategies daily
• Managed data workflows (PySpark) in Databricks, including changes to improve ETL processes,
add revenue tracking to secondary job sites, pull Stripe API data for a new software application, etc.
• Boosted neural network (TensorFlow, Keras) by modeling with NLP and prob. distributions (Binomial
& Neg Binomial), increasing mean val. revenue per visit from $0.57 to $0.86 for remarketing lists
• Deployed data migration tasks on AWS’s DMS for initial & CDC replication from a PostgreSQL
database in RDS to our Databricks warehouse via stream processing (Delta Live Tables)
• Implemented React logic and built SQL dashboards to track and analyze revenue data from simpler
platforms (i.e. less sophisticated than Google Ads), reviving a paused revenue stream with more
accurate tracking at an initial net profit of $20k per month

• Worked on the deployability team of unicorn defense-tech startup to implement command line tools that allow only authorized users to invoke different Kubernetes-related mutations without having to access servers via SSH
• Implemented a reverse proxy in Golang for routing gRPCs to proper services with the utilization of protobufs
• Designed a webpage for Kubernetes gateway microservice described above using React and Typescript
