# Vedant J. > Founding Product Designer (I build from 0→1) Location: United States, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/vedantj I design products that turn ideas into movements. My work sits at the intersection of business goals & user needs—creating experiences that drive engagement, retention, and revenue. I specialize in turning complexity into clarity—whether it’s designing intuitive interfaces, integrating AI into user experiences, or applying game mechanics to drive behavior. The goal is always the same: build products that people can’t put down. Let’s build something people can’t stop using. "It's not always about UI or UX....It's all about the story you tell." ## Work Experience ### Digital Product Designer @ Toptal Jan 2020 – Present *Qualified as the Top 3% of Designers around the Globe. - I help clients find effective user solutions to enhance the product usability and experience. - Conduct User Research around the goal statement to find user pain points. - Create User Stories and Journeys to find better solutions that motivate the user to complete the goal. - Plan, Conduct, Synthesize user research and Share it amongst stakeholders to act upon recommendations. ### Founding Product Designer @ Stealth Startup Jan 2024 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area ### Founding Product Designer @ Diffusion Labs Jan 2024 – Jan 2024 - Designed and scaled Methlab, a lending and borrowing Web3 protocol, creating a seamless user experience for decentralized Web3 finance. - Built a comprehensive design system with detailed documentation on Figma and Notion, ensuring design consistency and developer collaboration. - Worked for Puff Penthouse, a meme coin project that achieved over $200M+ in Total Value Locked (TVL). ### Senior Product Designer @ Real Vision Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 | New York, United States - As a Product Designer at Real Vision, I played an integral role within a collaborative team alongside the Director of Product Design and Chief Experience Officer. The main challenge was to create a gamified fan-user interaction and incentivise users for supporting their favourite creators. I was working with a team of 6 Developers (2 Front-End Developers, 1 Discord Bot Developer, 1 Solidity Developer and 2 Back-End Developers) Founder and Co-founder. 1st Phase: This was for our initial launch as we didn’t had any product in the market, so the first few challenge were clear messaging to the user of what is Lazix and why they wanna be a part of it?, incentivising the fan for engaging with their favourite creators, gamifying the fan-creator experience. These all led to our initial launch. 2nd Phase: Based on the things we didn’t do great, we did furthur did user interviews to get better insights for better product placement and conducted roadmap meetings and further synthesis. The product is still under development for the 2nd phase, but we did see a 33%-70% increase in the desired results for the 2nd phase. Finally built the product from scratch into a post-revenue company and its only going up from here 🚀 ### Senior Designer @ EY Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 | London, England, United Kingdom - Designed a user interaction prototype in form of an infographic that helps the EY employees understand the future EY agendas. - Followed the EY's brand palette to maintain brand consistency throughout the project. - Collaborated with a Creative Director and Project Manager to keep the project around the goal statement. ### System Product Designer @ Marks and Spencer Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 | London, England, United Kingdom - Rebuild/Redesigned new components for M&S using new Brand Guidelines. - Worked on imagery to trigger emotions, create trust, and modify the behavior of the user based on that. - Retouching UI so that the design tells the correct story and flows smoothly. ### Senior UI/UX Designer @ St. James's Place – Asia Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 | London, England, United Kingdom - Improved the existing design system for a finance company. - Created new design systems for mobile and tablet to maintain brand messaging and consistency. - Audited the current design systems to maintain consistency and emphasize the present guidelines. ### UI/UX Designer @ Brewin Dolphin Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | London, England, United Kingdom - Improved the existing design system for a finance company. - Created new design systems for mobile and tablet to maintain brand messaging and consistency. - Audited the current design systems to maintain consistency and emphasize the present guidelines. ### User Experience Designer @ IHG Hotels & Resorts Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | London, England, United Kingdom -Brainstormed and finalized the UI design for the new website development. - Implemented the design by following the IHG Brand Guidelines. - Worked with a team of project managers and a creative director to keep the project around the initial goal statement. ### Lead UI/UX Designer @ Big Rock - Performance Marketing Agency Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | London, England, United Kingdom - I redesigned the agency's website, to give it a more modern and clean visual touch.
