From 2012 to 2022, I worked on a range of products and systems touching nearly every aspect of the end-user experience. It started with Who To Follow, and soon after, me and a few team-mates "co-founded" a new product called MagicRecs. I was the lead engineer for MagicRecs and helped it become the largest growth driver for Twitter. In early 2017, I started to focus on a project called SimClusters, which enabled a quantum leap in Twitter’s ability to model user interests and spin up new recommendations products effortlessly. Other important initiatives included company-wide priorities such as Topics, Personalization, and some specific projects in Health. At Twitter, I was fortunate to work with wonderful colleagues who trusted my ability to rise to new challenges. I held the role of a Principal Software Engineer at the time I left, having received multiple promotions during my time at the company.

My Ph.D. research was in the areas of Community Discovery and Similarity Search in Large Networks. My research was published in the most selective venues of my field such as KDD, SIGMOD, and VLDB.
