### Full Stack Software Engineer @ Niche
Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 | Brooklyn, New York, United States
❏ Implemented numerous core React Native iOS application features (i.e. user profiles, club creation, user onboarding) from conceptual UI designs in Figma provided by the product design team
❏ Transformed onboarding into an AI chat concierge for hackathon using OpenAI in under 24 hours, proving the feasibility of using AI in the application
❏ Spearheaded migration from using Google Firestore’s NoSQL database to Cloud SQL using Postgres to enable the engineering team to efficiently query and mutate interconnected data 
❏ Researched and integrated Hasura GraphQL, Apollo and Prisma to provide advanced querying capabilities, including websocket based subscriptions for real-time chat, and Google Places API and PostGIS for location services for determining and storing user and club locations
❏ Integrated moderation tools including Google Vision to detect and prevent abusive content from being put onto the Niche community, and implemented content reporting features to allow users to flag offensive content
❏ Facilitated incident handling with engineering team by finding the root causes, dividing tasks to quickly implement solutions, and recovering any lost data by utilizing daily database backups
